Dr. Reddy has been practicing Veterinary medicine in the area since 1976 when he started working at Warren Animal Hospital until 1981 and is still going strong. He started his own practice in Somerset in January of 1981. Dr. Reddy graduated from Andhra Veterinary college in India and received his Masters degree in Animal Nutrition at the University of Rhode Island. Dr. Reddy's main passion is diagnosing and treating sick animals. He thoroughly enjoys when pet owners care for their pets and when they appreciate the outcome of treatment. In his spare time, his hobbies include watching tennis, listening to music and going to the movies.
Karen has been with Somerset Animal Hospital since 1987. She received her Associates degree in Animal Science from Becker College. Karen started her employment as a Veterinary assistant and after some time became the Practice Manager. Her time is divided between work, family, and caring for her four- legged friends, "Luly", her Pitbull mix and her four cats," Elvis", "Lola"," Asia", and "Raider". She enjoys cooking, reading and spending time with her family.
Stephanie started working with us in April of 2014. She has attended Becker College and Bristol Community College's Animal Science Degree Programs. Stephanie continues to take classes towards becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician. After leaving us for a short time to obtain additional knowledge and experience in other areas of the field, she has returned and has become an asset to our team. Her compassion for all animals extends from work to her five cats and her newest addition," Sophie" a Puggle/Boston terrier mix.
Angela joined our team in March, 2016. Her love for animals started at a very young age as she grew up on a small animal farm. She also loved helping her father raise litters of puppies as he bred German Shepherd Dogs. Angela now shares her home with her husband and two fur babies, a spunky German Shepherd named Rieka and a handsome brown tiger cat named Zee. She enjoys being outdoors, healthy eating, cooking, and spending time with her family.
